Dr. Stuart Stephens
Dr. Stephens grew up in Enid, OK. He credits his early work experience of cutting wheat and punching cattle for pointing him toward the dental profession. After graduating from Enid High School, he attended Oklahoma Christian University in Oklahoma City, OK where he received his bachelor degree in biology/chemistry. He was accepted into the OU Health Sciences Center dentistry program where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. After completing four years of dental school, he was accepted into the orthodontic program at OU Health Sciences Center where he continued his studies for two more years to become an orthodontist.
While in dental school he earned many top honors including induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society for being in the top five percent of his class and the Award of Exceptional Interest in the Development of the Oro-Facial Complex from the American Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Stephens has been practicing orthodontics in Yukon, OK since 1992, and Woodward, OK since 1993. When Dr. Stephens is not spending time with patients he enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking, visiting national parks and presidential libraries. Dr. Stephens has been married to his wife, Vonda, for 34 years and they have two children and three grandchildren.
